You crash on a planet nobody has visited. It has no name until you land on it. Everything you need to leave is in the ground under your feet.

Mine down through the tiers until you hit alien crystal. Build the furnace, the assembler, and the four rocket parts. Walk them to the pad and go.

Every seed is a different planet

Type a number and the game invents a world: its name, its biomes, its animals, its plants, its ores, the length of its day, the colour of the sky and the pixel texture on every single block. Grass can be teal. The sky can be violet. The seed you write down is the exact planet someone else lands on.

What you'll be doing

• Digging. Every block breaks, and nearly all of them go back. Caves run deep and open into caverns with ore seams left in the walls.
• Climbing the tiers. Hands to wood to stone to copper to iron to gold to crystal. 30 tools, and every one of them wears out.
• Not starving. Hunger is a real clock. Run low and you stop healing and stop sprinting. Fruit trees on landing day, then hunting, cooking, then a farm.
• Surviving the night. What comes out after dark is not what you saw at noon.
• Swimming. Kelp forests, oyster beds, wrecks with cargo still aboard, and seabed nodules worth double the iron of any hillside vein.
• Leaving. Or not. The planet is still there afterwards.
